What you'll do

Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews and debugging for other team members.
Design and execute creative software solutions to solve complex technical problems beyond conventional approaches.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve the operational stability of software systems.
Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical credentials.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Translate strategic business objectives into executable technology roadmaps and delivery plans with senior stakeholders.
Lead communities of practice to promote the use of leading-edge technologies across Software Engineering.
Implement enterprise-wide automation and workflows using tools within the Software Development Life Cycle.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, and .Net.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and setting validation standards.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, and coaching engineers on safe, compliant adoption.
Hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise-wide automation, workflows, and continuous delivery methods.
Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle and advanced understanding of agile methodologies.
Practical cloud-native experience with AWS or Azure.
