JOB TITLE: Lead Infrastructure Engineer - Wireless Engineer
As a Senior Lead Infrastructure Engineer within the Infrastructure Platforms team, you will provide deep technical expertise to analyze complex data and systems while anticipating upstream and downstream implications. You will architect and implement changes to modernize technology processes, driving complex programs that align with business requirements, compliance standards, and security objectives. Your daily work involves leading reuse-first adoption of AI-assisted practices for delivery and automation routines. You must possess senior full-stack network engineering expertise across wireless and WAN, including routing, switching, segmentation, QoS, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM. You will utilize cloud infrastructure across public and private environments, leveraging programming languages and automation to improve operational discipline. This role solves critical infrastructure challenges by ensuring resiliency, traceability, and auditability across diverse technical disciplines.
Analyze complex data and systems to anticipate issues and advise on mitigation actions.
Use enterprise-authorized AI to analyze infrastructure signals and document mitigation options.
Architect and implement changes to resolve issues and modernize organizational technology processes.
Execute infrastructure engineering projects in accordance with compliance, risk, and security standards.
Lead the adoption of AI-assisted practices across delivery and automation routines to reduce recurring issues.
Lead architecture and design for major network initiatives including wireless and WAN technologies.
Triage complex network issues and drive them to closure with clear root cause analyses.
Advocate for observability and repeatable operations through monitoring, alerting, and scripting.
What we're looking for
Senior full-stack network engineering expertise with technical leadership across wireless and WAN (routing/switching, segmentation, QoS, DNS/DHCP/IPAM).
Proven ability to lead architecture/design, guide implementation, and own outcomes end-to-end for major initiatives.
Strong customer presence and stakeholder management skills to translate complex technical topics into clear options and recommendations.
Knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as hardware, databases, storage, deployment, integration, or automation.
Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support infrastructure engineering workflows.
Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations while ensuring outcomes align with resiliency, security, and auditability expectations.
Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds.
Expert incident/problem leadership for complex network issues and an operational rigor for automation and observability (preferred).
