Lead, HCM M&A Portfolio & Delivery

What you'll do

• Lead HCM technology due diligence for acquisitions, divestitures, and carve-outs to identify risks and dependencies.
• Develop preliminary scope, ROM estimates, timelines, and resource requirements to support transaction planning.
• Create the HCM technology strategy, roadmap, and delivery approach for each M&A transaction.
• Define Day 1, transitional, and target-state requirements for employee data, payroll, and integrations.
• Manage the integrated HCM delivery plan, including milestones, risks, financials, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Drive HCM Day 1 readiness across data, integrations, payroll, security, and operational support.
• Oversee post-close stabilization and the transition of systems to steady-state support.
• Develop and improve a repeatable HCM M&A playbook including assessment models and delivery templates.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business, HR, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in HCM technology, enterprise applications, ERP, technology delivery, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional technology programs through matrixed teams.
• Strong understanding of enterprise HCM ecosystems, including Workday, Payroll, integrations, identity/security, and downstream applications.
• Experience managing program scope, schedules, financials, risks, dependencies, testing, cutover, and operational readiness.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder-management, and executive-communication capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently, navigate ambiguity, and influence across business and technology organizations.
• Experience supporting M&A, divestitures, carve-outs, or post-merger integrations (preferred).
