Lead Engineer

What you'll do

• Oversee the entire engineering design process from initial concept through final production.
• Manage, schedule, and track all engineering tasks while directing and training other engineers and designers.
• Provide technical direction and oversight for mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software development teams.
• Review and approve engineering designs, specifications, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for manufacturability.
• Coordinate validation and testing activities to ensure products meet performance requirements and quality standards.
• Partner with operations and manufacturing teams to ensure a seamless transition into full production.
• Interpret complex customer documentation including electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and fabrication drawings.
• Develop and implement standardized designs and processes to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• At least 7 years of relevant work experience in engineering.
• Experience in full product lifecycle development (preferred).
• Strong understanding of design principles, manufacturing processes, and common materials/fabrication methods.
• Proven ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional engineering teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills.
