The Lead, Electrical Engineering - Hardware Design joins a dynamic team to perform analog and digital design of ruggedized electronics for ordnance applications. This role involves conducting circuit tolerance analyses using hand calculations and Spice tools, developing requirements, and generating comprehensive test plans and reports for product performance. The individual will lead test activities, conduct failure investigations using 8D and Fishbone tools, and mentor engineering staff. Key technical requirements include experience with differential amplifiers, op amps, LDOs, filters, data converters, and power conversion concepts like AC/DC and DC/DC supplies. Proficiency in schematic capture and board layout utilities such as Altium or PADS is required. The work focuses on designing Electronic Safety and Arming Devices and Ignition Safety Devices for extreme environments involving vibration, shock, and temperature.

What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field with 9 years of experience, a graduate degree with 7 years, or 13 years of experience without a degree.
5+ years of experience designing with basic analog building blocks including differential amplifiers, op amps, LDOs, filters, and data converters.
5+ years of experience designing with basic digital building blocks including logic gates, flip flops, timers, and filters.
4+ years of experience with power conversion concepts including AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC, linear, and switching supplies.
5+ years of experience troubleshooting using standard lab equipment like oscilloscopes, function generators, and meters.
4+ years of experience with schematic capture and board layout utilities such as Altium or PADS.
