What you'll do

  • Guide multiple electrical subsystems from initial concept through final installation in defense programs.
  • Lead technical discussions regarding system architecture and hardware requirements.
  • Select and design components for PCBs, FPGAs, and network infrastructure.
  • Manage the verification, qualification testing, and integration of hardware across mechanical and systems disciplines.
  • Oversee a team of 5-7 engineers to deliver concurrent electrical hardware projects on time and within budget.
  • Analyze circuit card schematics and troubleshoot hardware in networked, cyber-resilient environments.
  • Develop secure, scalable hardware solutions incorporating encryption algorithms and trusted platform architectures.
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation in design processes.

What we're looking for

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and 5 years of experience, or a Master's degree and 3 years of experience.
  • Experience with R&D and advanced proficiency in testing, troubleshooting, and analyzing circuit card schematics.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team of 5-7 engineers across complex projects.
  • Ability to bridge electrical design with systems-level requirements and mechanical integration constraints.
  • Foundational understanding of networking and cybersecurity principles as they relate to hardware (preferred).
  • Experience in identifying opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation (preferred).
