Lead Director - Engineering

What you'll do

• Lead transformation and modernization roadmaps for Retail Front Store value streams.
• Drive AI-enabled transformations and execution strategies for merchandising technology.
• Identify and manage cross-workstream technical dependencies and project risks.
• Create end-to-end program plans including tracking, reporting, and status updates to stakeholders.
• Define and track metrics and KPIs to measure business outcomes for the portfolio.
• Establish AI adoption best practices for technical execution and delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with business, product, technology partners, and vendors.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of experience as a Technology Program Delivery leader or in a software engineering role leading full-cycle large programs.
• 8+ years of experience leading teams within a matrix organization.
• 4+ years of experience partnering with architecture, product, and PMO teams to influence product development.
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role coordinating across cross-functional software teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma plus 4 years relevant experience).
• Experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones and geographies (preferred).
• Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies (preferred).
• Experience leading large programs with end-to-end planning, vendor management, and performance/people management (preferred).
