  • Design and develop scalable, resilient hybrid cloud solutions for critical financial risk management activities.
  • Lead requirement analysis to identify missing components and validate assumptions in system models.
  • Architect and develop next-generation clearing applications within an Agile framework.
  • Perform high-standard code reviews and write unit and integration tests using DevOps frameworks.
  • Conduct application and project risk analyses to recommend necessary quality improvements.
  • Provide technical advice and fixes for production support issues as required.
  • Mentor developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven organizational strategies.

What we're looking for

  • A BS degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience building large scale, compute and event-driven solutions is required.
  • Experience with Java 8+ including internal workings is required.
  • Experience developing software using Object Oriented Designs, advanced patterns like AOP, and multi-threading is required.
  • Experience following Git workflows is required.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, migrations, and AWS foundational services is preferred.
  • Experience with distributed message brokers, high speed distributed computing frameworks, and various database types is desired or a plus.
  • OCP Java SE 8 Programmer Certification and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate Level are pluses.
