What you'll do

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java 8, 11, and 17 following SOLID principles and design patterns.
Develop and manage business rules and decision services using enterprise rules engines like Drools or Red Hat Decision Manager.
Build and maintain Groovy scripts and Python-based solutions for workflow automation, data processing, and ETL components.
Define and enhance APIs and service interfaces using Swagger/OpenAPI specifications and REST/SOAP protocols.
Design and implement integrations between internal and external systems using message queues, event-driven frameworks, and middleware.
Lead analytics and decisioning processes across business units while mentoring junior team members on technical solutions.
Manage CI/CD pipelines, Git-based source control, and automated testing frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience.
5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Java 8, 11, and 17 development, including performance optimization and migration.
Experience developing and maintaining Groovy scripts and Python applications for automation, integrations, and data processing.
Experience with Business Rules Management Systems (BRMS) such as Drools, Red Hat Decision Manager, or IBM ODM.
Strong understanding of OOD, SOLID principles, Design Patterns, Domain-Driven Design, and enterprise architecture.
Experience designing microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native applications using REST, SOAP, and message queues.
Experience with API security standards including OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSL/TLS, and CI/CD pipelines.
