What you'll do

Design and develop scalable, resilient, and cost-optimized hybrid cloud-based solutions for financial risk management.
Lead requirement analysis and reviews to identify missing information and validate model assumptions.
Develop next-generation clearing applications within an Agile environment using agreed architecture frameworks.
Perform thorough code reviews based on high engineering standards and write unit and integration tests.
Conduct application and project risk analyses and recommend quality improvements.
Provide technical advice and fixes to Production Support for system functionality issues.
Mentor developers and collaborate across cross-functional teams to drive data-driven organizational strategy.

What we're looking for

BS degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field is required.
Master's degree is preferred.
8+ years of experience in building large scale, compute and event-driven solutions is required.
Experience in Java 8+ including internal workings is required.
Experience developing software using Object Oriented Designs, advanced patterns like AOP, and multi-threading is required.
Experience following Git workflows is required.
Experience with cloud technologies and migrations is required.
Experience with distributed message brokers, high speed distributed computing frameworks, or DevOps tools is desirable.
