IT Security Engineer II

What you'll do

• Conduct complex security incident investigations and lead recovery processes.
• Design, implement, and manage security controls for applications, devices, and cloud systems.
• Manage and automate the operation of security tools to reduce organizational risk.
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and standard operating procedures.
• Perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with HIPAA, PCI, and other regulations.
• Monitor and report on enterprise security capabilities using automated and manual tools.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to respond to active security incidents.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent education with professional security certifications.
• One advanced, professional, or expert-level security certification is preferred.
• Minimum of three years of mid-level cybersecurity experience at an analyst or engineer level.
• Experience leading, supporting, managing, and administering at least one security application.
• Experience leading security projects and initiatives.
• Proficiency in cloud security (Azure), data loss prevention, and security orchestration/automation.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, PCI, and NIST standards and requirements.
• Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
