What you'll do

  • Design, integrate, operate, and maintain robust security monitoring and auditing capabilities across the global platform.
  • Develop and support monitoring solutions to provide visibility, detection, and alerting for incident response and forensics.
  • Identify and refine metrics, logs, and alerts to improve operational visibility and detection effectiveness.
  • Integrate logging and monitoring pipelines with existing tools like SIEM, EDR, and dashboards while ensuring data quality.
  • Tune alerts and thresholds to reduce noise while maintaining high coverage for security and operational events.
  • Drive DevSecOps practices by integrating security controls, automated compliance checks, and vulnerability scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Leverage Generative AI and AI-assisted tools to automate repetitive tasks and enhance threat detection workflows.

What we're looking for

  • U.S. Citizenship is required for FedRAMP compliance.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering, monitoring, or related cybersecurity roles.
  • Practical experience with logging, monitoring, and SIEM/dashboarding tools such as AWS GuardDuty, Sumo Logic, Grafana, CrowdStrike, DataDog, Splunk, Thycotic, or similar.
  • Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Strong understanding of log handling and telemetry pipelines including collection, aggregation, integration, and alert tuning.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, Shell, or Go.
  • Working knowledge of cloud orchestration and container platforms like Kubernetes and/or OpenStack.
  • Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework or Lockheed Martin Cyber Kill Chain (preferred).
  • Relevant industry certifications such as Security+, GSEC, or CISSP (preferred).
  • Familiarity with F5 products and services (preferred).
  • Working experience in a FedRAMP environment (preferred).
