IT Security Specialist II

What you'll do

• Manage the end-user and technical security training and awareness program.
• Perform vulnerability scans and own the end-to-end remediation of identified risks.
• Collect and analyze threat intelligence reports to identify and escalate emerging security threats.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for monitoring CISA advisories and vendor disclosures.
• Support the incident response process from initial detection through to final resolution.
• Produce and disseminate actionable threat intelligence summaries and high-confidence indicators of compromise.
• Provide technical direction for identifying and remediating system and application vulnerabilities.
• Participate in risk management activities including PCI-DSS compliance, auditing, and security assessments.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Master's degree is highly desirable (preferred).
• 5-7+ years of progressive cybersecurity experience.
• 3+ years of experience in threat and vulnerability management, threat intelligence, incident response, digital forensics, malware analysis, or threat hunting.
• In-depth experience managing vulnerability management tools such as Qualys, Tenable, or Rapid7.
• CompTIA CySA+, CISSP, CISM, Cloud Computing Security Certification, or GIAC Certified Incident Handler (preferred).
• Excellent technical writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining high levels of integrity and confidentiality.
