IT, Director-Availability Command Center leads the Global IT Availability Operation using a 24/7/365 support model to ensure the continuity of enterprise systems. This role is responsible for managing Major Incident, Problem, and Knowledge functions while driving the transformation of availability programs through updated controls and process improvements aligned with ITSM best practices. The successful candidate will oversee team management, budget forecasting, vendor contract management, and risk mitigation strategies. What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
8 years of experience in a technology function including 3 years of leadership experience in software development, engineering, or infrastructure environments.
5+ years leading Enterprise Global IT Availability Operations using a 24/7/365 support model and managing third-party resources globally.
Experience overseeing the full technology lifecycle from requirements analysis to implementation and support.
Demonstrated financial acumen including budget management, forecasting, and conducting cost-benefit analyses.
Proficiency with industry frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, or SAFe.
Experience with various technology platforms (Mainframe, Network, Distributed) and observability platforms like APM or SN.
Experience executing enterprise disaster recovery strategies and leading large transformation efforts to improve availability (preferred).
