Command Systems Hardware Design and Implementation Lead - Director 2

What you'll do

• Set the vision for the design engineering team to execute hardware engineering for the Sentinel Command Systems.
• Establish and direct integrated hardware engineering processes across all national and subcontractor locations.
• Manage all aspects of development for mission systems, subsystem hardware, and nuclear surety processes.
• Oversee architectural scope for launch execution, wing operations, physical security, and communications design.
• Perform proactive risk and opportunity management across the full product lifecycle for system elements.
• Ensure hardware designs meet requirements and integrate successfully with the rest of the weapon system.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and resource coordination for all levels of engineering staff.
• Maintain clear lines of communication with the customer regarding technical and programmatic topics.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of progressive engineering experience, or Master’s and 8 years of experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing hardware.
• 5+ years of experience with EVMS on hardware development programs.
• Experience managing people.
• ICBM or complex aerospace systems experience (preferred).
• Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience (preferred).
