What you'll do

  • Set vision and direct implementation of integrated hardware engineering processes across Command Systems Organization.
  • Manage development aspects including mission/weapon system engineering, subsystem/component design, and nuclear surety compliance.
  • Ensure product quality and consistency through auditing, oversight, and metrics management for hardware engineering.
  • Lead architectural scope for CS Hardware including launch execution systems, wing operations, communications, and integration.
  • Deliver Command Systems hardware designs that meet requirements and integrate successfully with other weapon system components.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of progressive engineering experience or Master’s and 8 years’ of experience.
  • Experience managing people and leading hardware engineering teams.
  • 5+ years designing and developing hardware for complex systems.
  • 5+ years experience with EVMS on hardware development programs.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance.
  • Proven track record in technical leadership and mentoring engineering staff.
