Director, Information Technology - Public Cloud Enablement

What you'll do

• Direct and manage a team of professionals providing public cloud enablement for the developer community.
• Oversee AWS Lambda environments and develop governance and risk management strategies for those systems.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor an internal control environment to effectively manage technical risks.
• Create multi-year operational plans and establish metrics like KPIs and KRIs for technology support functions.
• Manage departmental budgets, financial forecasting, and vendor contract negotiations for technology services.
• Establish documentation standards and quality assurance methodologies across all technology support teams.
• Provide high-level consultation on emerging technologies and influence long-term business strategy.
• Ensure compliance with risk policies and regulatory requirements while managing change and incident processes.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
• 8 years of experience in a technology function within a Software Development/Engineering or Infrastructure environment.
• 3 years of direct team lead or management experience of IT professionals.
• Experience enabling public cloud capabilities in AWS Lambda environments.
• Familiarity with GitHub, GitLab, and related continuous integration and continuous delivery infrastructure.
• Understanding of the full Software Development Cycle and technical domains in Infrastructure Services, Data, or Application Development.
• Demonstrated financial acumen involving budgets, forecasting, and executing on technology support function budgets.
• Experience in financial services, insurance, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries (preferred); military experience (preferred).
