Intern, Systems joins the engineering team to support the development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures. The role involves performing operational analysis, developing concept of operations, and creating design and implementation plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing test plans, procedures, and cases while conducting tests and documenting results. The individual will analyze systems requirements from end users and provide presentations to communicate design activity status to internal and external customers. Key technical skills and tools required for this position include scripting, software and hardware troubleshooting, and familiarity with Rhapsody. The work focuses on the engineering of complex system architectures and performance modeling within a defense technology context. Candidates should possess knowledge in systems analysis, design, integration, or project management to solve critical infrastructure challenges.
Perform operational analysis and develop concept of operations, design, and implementation plans.
Develop test plans, procedures, and specific test cases.
Conduct system tests and document the resulting data.
Utilize software tools, scripting, and hardware/software troubleshooting techniques.
Analyze system requirements from end systems and user needs.

Deliver presentations to communicate design activity plans and status to internal and external customers.
What we're looking for
Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
Coursework and/or experience in systems engineering, architecture, analysis, design, performance modeling, integration, project management, and model-based systems engineering (preferred).
