The Systems Engineering Intern joins a team focused on developing and evaluating complex system designs and architectures. In this role, you will perform operational analysis to develop concept of operations, design, and implementation plans while analyzing systems requirements from end users and systems. Your daily responsibilities include developing test plans, procedures, and cases, conducting tests, documenting results, and utilizing software tools for scripting and hardware or software troubleshooting. You will also deliver presentations to communicate design activity plans and status to internal and external customers. The role requires skills in systems engineering, architecture, analysis, design, performance modeling, integration, project management, and model-based systems engineering. Candidates may use Rhapsody and must possess a background in fields such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Aerospace Engineering to solve complex technical system problems.
Perform operational analysis and develop concept of operations, design, and implementation plans.
Develop test plans, procedures, and specific test cases.
Conduct system tests and document the resulting data.
Utilize software tools, scripting, and hardware/software troubleshooting techniques.
Analyze system requirements from end systems and various users.

What we're looking for
Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
Coursework and/or experience in systems engineering, architecture, analysis, design, performance modeling, integration, project management, and model-based systems engineering (preferred).
