The Systems Engineering Intern joins the team to support the development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures. In this role, you will perform operational analysis, develop concept of operations, and create design and implementation plans. Your daily responsibilities include developing test plans, procedures, and cases while conducting tests and documenting results. You will analyze systems requirements from end users and provide presentations to communicate design activity status to internal and external customers. The work involves utilizing software tools, scripting, and performing software and hardware troubleshooting. Key technical competencies include systems architecture, systems analysis, performance modeling, and model-based systems engineering. Candidates may also utilize Rhapsody. This role focuses on solving complex system design challenges within the defense technology sector across space, air, land, sea, and cyber domains.
Perform operational analysis and develop concept of operations, design, and implementation plans.
Develop test plans, procedures, and specific test cases.
Conduct tests and document the resulting data.
Utilize software tools, scripting, and hardware/software troubleshooting techniques.
Analyze system requirements from end systems and users.
Support the development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures.
Deliver presentations to communicate design activity plans and status to internal and external customers.
What we're looking for
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain a security clearance.
Experience in systems engineering, architecture, analysis, design, performance modeling, integration, or project management (preferred).
Experience in model-based systems engineering (preferred).
