What you'll do

Design, build, and support healthcare integrations using InterSystems HealthConnect, Ensemble, and IRIS.
Develop and maintain HL7 v2.x interfaces including ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, DFT, and MDM workflows.
Build and support FHIR, SMART on FHIR, and REST-based integration services.
Design message transformation, orchestration, routing, validation, and exception-handling solutions using JSON and XML.
Troubleshoot interface failures, data quality issues, API errors, and system integration challenges.
Implement source control and automated deployments using Git, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices.
Monitor integration platforms, APIs, and messaging services to improve reliability and performance.

What we're looking for

4+ years of experience designing, developing, troubleshooting, and supporting healthcare integrations or enterprise integration solutions.
Experience with HL7 v2.x healthcare messaging standards.
Experience developing or supporting FHIR and REST APIs.
Experience with healthcare interoperability and healthcare data exchange solutions.
Experience with message transformation, routing, orchestration, and interface design.
Experience using Git for source control and CI/CD deployment processes.
Demonstrated experience troubleshooting production integration environments.
Experience with HIPAA-regulated systems or other regulated industries.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Experience with InterSystems HealthConnect (preferred).
Experience implementing FHIR integrations (preferred).
Knowledge of OAuth, authentication, authorization, and API security standards (preferred).
Experience with JSON, XML, SQL, ODBC, and JDBC technologies (preferred).
Experience in oncology, provider, payer, or broader healthcare environments (preferred).
Experience supporting high-availability integration platforms and incident management processes (preferred).
Experience driving automation, observability, and continuous improvement initiatives (preferred).
