What you'll do

Maintain, calibrate, configure, and repair instrumentation, process controls, and data acquisition systems.
Investigate, diagnose, and document malfunctions in electrical and electronic systems.
Build, test, and modify developmental and production electrical components and assemblies.
Perform wire terminations for sensors including pressure transducers, thermocouples, valves, and flow meters.
Adjust and calibrate circuitry while recording the effects on unit performance.
Interpret technical documents such as schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and engineering sketches.
Troubleshoot system-level problems to determine necessary corrective actions.

What we're looking for

High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
2+ years of experience working with instrumentation such as pressure transducers, thermocouples, valves, flow meters, multimeters, or oscilloscopes.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents including schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and engineering sketches.
Proficiency in system-level troubleshooting and logical problem solving for instrumentation systems.
Knowledge of DC electronics, Ohm's Law, Wheatstone Bridge Theory, and signal conditioning concepts.
Experience with cable harnessing (IPC 620), soldering, crimping tools, and various data communication technologies.
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, working in cramped spaces, at heights, and in extreme outdoor environments.
Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible for export control authorizations under ITAR regulations.
