What you'll do

Monitor and maintain optical test systems and equipment areas.
Perform first-level triage of test failures by interpreting logs and telemetry.
Build and validate automated hardware test systems for production environments.
Fabricate and repair cable harnesses including crimping, soldering, and assembling connectors.
Design and implement assembly fixtures to improve manufacturing and testing processes.
Create and manage equipment maintenance and calibration schedules.
Identify design gaps and update documentation to resolve recurring issues.
Train production technicians on new or updated test processes.

What we're looking for

High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
2+ years of professional experience in a hands-on manufacturing environment or a bachelor's degree in engineering, math, or science.
Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, engineering drawings, and test logs.
Proficiency with standard office software, CAD software (NX, TeamCenter), and programming languages like Python or C++.
Experience with production/environmental testing for electronic assemblies and administering Linux environments.
Basic understanding of networking concepts including VLANs, namespaces, and routing.
Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible for export control authorizations.
