Instructional Designer, Mainframe Education

What you'll do

• Conduct job, task, and skills analyses to identify learning needs based on business priorities.
• Design and develop blended learning solutions using various delivery modes and technologies.
• Manage external vendors to ensure training content aligns with company culture and practices.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and organize content for instructional development.
• Validate the effectiveness of learning content through appropriate evaluation methods.
• Serve as a technical expert to ensure accuracy and integrity of curriculum during development.
• Develop software images and environments to support product application in training materials.
• Mentor and coach junior instructional designers and other relevant staff members.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of related experience, or a Master's degree and 6+ years of related experience.
• At least five years of experience in an instructional design role.
• Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization.
• Experience managing stakeholders.
• Outstanding knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes.
• Ability to work in a physical office environment at one of the listed locations.
• Strong working knowledge of software education (preferred).
• Strong working knowledge of mainframe software and the mainframe app dev environment (preferred).
