Senior Advisor, Infrastructure Engineering

What you'll do

• Gather customer requirements to onboard data and create dashboards, reports, and knowledge objects.
• Support the systems engineering lifecycle for large hybrid Splunk and Cribl deployments.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts to identify root causes of problems across the enterprise logging environment.
• Devise technical solutions and adapt new technologies to improve Splunk, Cribl, and cloud operations.
• Lead projects that drive continuous improvement for products, services, offerings, and governance.
• Coach and mentor customers and staff who require technical assistance and guidance.
• Partner with Agile leads to develop, plan, and execute large-scale initiatives.

What we're looking for

• Must have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Technology Management, or a related field and 3 years of experience.
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience.
• Must have experience supporting, operating, and managing large-scale Splunk environments, including Splunk Cloud and enterprise deployments.
• Must have experience with Splunk architecture, SPL, query optimization, and data onboarding using Universal Forwarders and HEC.
• Must have experience configuring, deploying, and maintaining Cribl Stream and Cribl Edge for log management and data routing.
• Must have experience with Infrastructure as Code tools including AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, and Packer.
• Must have experience with Linux operating systems, shell scripting in Bash, Python, and Perl, and CI/CD tools like GitLab CI.
• Must have experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS, S3, and Control Tower.
