What you'll do

Manage daily production support operations and lead incident resolution efforts for mission-critical applications.
Serve as the primary escalation point for high-severity (P1/P2) incidents and conduct post-mortem analyses.
Provide technical and managerial leadership to the application support team while mentoring junior engineers.
Deliver Level 2 support for AWS-hosted applications by resolving complex technical issues and triaging batch jobs.
Monitor CloudWatch dashboards, set alarms, and investigate system anomalies or failures.
Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve system observability.
Communicate production status and resolution progress clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Maintain issue logs, provide reconciliation reports, and document permanent fixes for recurring problems.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering with 5 years of experience in a senior/lead application support role in healthcare.
Master's degree with 3 years of experience in a senior/lead application support role in the healthcare domain.
Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon EKS.
Proficiency in ITIL processes including incident, change, CMDB management, and service request fulfillment.
Experience architecting and supporting distributed event-driven systems across AWS computation, messaging, orchestration, and data platforms.
Expertise in cloud-native observability using CloudWatch, incident diagnostics with Dynatrace, and cross-component failure analysis with Splunk.
Proficiency in Python and modern API frameworks like FastAPI or Flask for CI/CD and DevOps automation.
Experience with DynamoDB, OpenSearch, HIPAA Transactions, and the Edifecs system.
