Information Security Engineer

What you'll do

• Co-own the Netskope platform including architecture, roadmap, design, implementation, and optimization.
• Develop and implement technical preventative controls to enforce data loss prevention policies across the company.
• Create and execute processes to update keywords in partnership with the Legal team.
• Identify gaps in security controls and systems while recommending appropriate solutions.
• Tune content detection rules and improve alert fidelity in collaboration with Incident Response and SOC teams.
• Conduct security investigations across various systems while maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Provide guidance to the Operations team regarding the operationalization of tasks.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for DLP programs and governance processes.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required.
• Minimum 15 years experience (12 with a Master's, 8 with a PhD) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in an Information Security role.
• At least 5 years of experience in a security engineering role focused on Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
• At least 2 years of experience developing, reviewing, and responding to DLP alerts.
• Hands-on experience with Netskope DLP, including managing policies and alerts.
• Possession of at least one professional certification: Security+, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or GMON.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
