JOB TITLE: Lead Entra Id Engineer
The Lead Entra Id Engineer joins the Global Information Systems Group to lead the architecture, engineering, and operational excellence of access management services for workforce, customer, and external partner populations. You will drive migrations from legacy authentication to modern cloud-based identity solutions while defining standards for SSO, MFA, passwordless authentication, and Conditional Access. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing secure B2B and partner identity solutions, implementing protocols like SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SCIM, and JWT, and ensuring adherence to Zero Trust and least privilege policies. You will provide technical leadership by mentoring engineers and managing complex identity lifecycle integrations. This role solves critical security and governance challenges within a globally distributed, highly regulated environment by providing scalable, production-grade identity infrastructure for diverse enterprise applications and APIs.
Lead the architecture, engineering, and delivery of Microsoft Entra ID and access management services.
Define standards, deployment models, and operational procedures for workforce, partner, and customer identities.
Drive the migration from legacy authentication systems to modern cloud-based identity solutions.
Design and support SSO, MFA, passwordless authentication, and federation services using SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OIDC.
Develop secure integration patterns for applications, APIs, and automated access scenarios.
Ensure adherence to Zero Trust, least privilege, and enterprise security policies.
Develop monitoring, automation, and reporting capabilities to ensure platform reliability and scalability.
Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance on identity best practices and standards.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline required.
Master's degree in a related discipline (preferred).
10+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management, Information Security, Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Security, or related technology disciplines.
7+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Entra ID solutions in complex enterprise environments.
Demonstrated experience delivering access management solutions for workforce, customer, external partner, supplier, contractor, application, and non-human identities.
Proven experience with large-scale application onboarding, federation, authentication modernization, access policy engineering, identity lifecycle integration, and cloud identity transformation.
Experience leading technical teams or workstreams, mentoring engineers, and driving engineering best practices without requiring direct people-management responsibility.
Experience supporting semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, or Fortune 500 global enterprises (preferred); experience with Ping Identity, Okta, ForgeRock, Saviynt, SailPoint, CyberArk, or similar enterprise IAM technologies (preferred).
