What you'll do

  • Manage the engineering, implementation, and lifecycle of enterprise security tools and platforms.
  • Optimize tool configurations to align with industry best practices and internal security standards.
  • Improve detection, prevention, and response capabilities through continuous system enhancements.
  • Identify and remediate configuration gaps, coverage issues, and specific security findings.
  • Provide technical input on architecture and design decisions during security reviews.
  • Develop operational metrics and reporting to measure tool effectiveness and overall security posture.
  • Document technical processes, configurations, and standard operating procedures for the organization.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field; 6 years experience with a Master's; 3 years with a PhD; or equivalent education and experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in an Information Security or IT Engineering role.
  • Foundational experience in Information Security Engineering and managing security tools/platforms.
  • Hands-on experience in domains such as endpoint, identity, network, cloud, DLP, EPM, WAF, email security, or CSPM.
  • Experience with specific tools including Microsoft Defender suite, Netskope, Palo Alto Networks, Imperva, Intune, Perception Point, or Security Copilot.
  • Knowledge of vulnerability management, risk assessment methodologies, and remediation workflows.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving skills, and ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are preferred.
