Information Systems Security Engineer

What you'll do

• Integrate security requirements into system architecture, design, development, and configuration.
• Implement and enforce all DoD cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Manage systems to maintain an acceptable security posture and achieve IATO and ATO certifications.
• Guide clients through the entire Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.
• Conduct enterprise vulnerability scanning using tools like ACAS and perform risk remediation.
• Perform security control assessments and ensure compliance with STIGs and DoD directives.
• Engineer and harden security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM tools.
• Develop cybersecurity solutions for complex hybrid systems and AI/ML networks.

What we're looking for

• Must possess a Top Secret security clearance.
• Must have 3+ years of experience guiding clients through the RMF and ATO process.
• Must hold a DoD 8140 IAT Level II Certification.
• Must have an Associate's degree with 7+ years of cybersecurity experience, a Bachelor's with 3+ years, or 9+ years of experience without a degree.
• Experience as an ISSE, ISSO, or in roles involving IT Service Management and Cybersecurity.
• Experience conducting enterprise vulnerability scanning (ACAS), risk remediation, and implementing STIGs.
• Experience engineering and hardening security solutions like firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM tools.
• Knowledge of DoD communication, cybersecurity, and systems engineering management processes.
