What you'll do

Set up and maintain Cadence Virtuoso schematic and layout features.
Develop and maintain the LEF generation flow.
Develop and maintain the Calibre PDK.
Evaluate and deploy new features in collaboration with vendors and designers.
Build regression testbenches to ensure CAD tool and flow quality.
Provide technical support and training to users across multiple sites.
Integrate AI agents across CAD areas to improve user experience and speed up design cycles.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
Experience with Cadence Virtuoso schematic/layout or equivalent vendor tools.
Experience with Calibre coding or equivalent vendor tools.
Experience with abstract and LEF generation processes.
Experience creating AI agents with Claude Code or equivalent agentic tools.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Cadence SKILL and Perl.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support design deliverable schedules.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with engineers across different sites and time zones.
