Senior CAD Automation and Mixed-Signal Simulation Engineer

What you'll do

• Architect and define the roadmap for mixed-signal simulation methodologies across multiple technology nodes.
• Serve as the primary technical authority for circuit design teams regarding functional behavior and performance verification.
• Lead the investigation and adoption of novel CAD automations to improve scalability across projects.
• Manage strategic relationships with EDA tool vendors to drive improvements and ensure quality standards.
• Resolve critical, ambiguous technical challenges in mixed-signal simulation and modeling.
• Define strategies for bridging analog and digital domains to establish best practices for design teams.
• Identify and mitigate systemic risks in design quality by creating durable simulation solutions.
• Lead small software development teams to deliver complex CAD applications and tools.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant AMS (Analog Mixed-Signal) industry experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Perl, C/C++, or TCL programming.
• Deep, hands-on experience with mixed-signal co-simulation tools and methodologies.
• Expert-level experience with industry-standard AMS tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, or Siemens (preferred).
• Deep knowledge of analog simulation tools like Cadence Spectre, Synopsys PrimeSim/HSPICE/Finesim, or Siemens AFS (preferred).
• Proficiency in behavioral and functional circuit description languages including SystemVerilog, VerilogA, Verilog, Verilog-AMS, and VHDL (preferred).
• Experience with advanced software engineering concepts like object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and revision control (preferred).
