What you'll do

  • Translate regulatory obligations and enterprise requirements into practical, scalable operational controls.
  • Maintain and update control inventories and mapping documentation linking policies to risks.
  • Define evidence standards and validate records like permits and training for audit readiness.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Identify control deficiencies and partner with stakeholders to implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Analyze trends from audits and risk assessments to identify emerging systemic concerns.
  • Develop dashboards and performance metrics to provide insights on compliance and risk exposure.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
  • 4–8 years of relevant experience in HSE compliance, regulatory affairs, risk management, governance, controls, audit, or related disciplines.
  • Experience supporting the design, implementation, testing, or oversight of risk and control frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of compliance programs, operational risk management principles, and control governance practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical business processes and controls.
  • Experience evaluating documentation and evidence to support compliance, assurance, and audit-readiness activities.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends, assess risk, and develop reports using data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with compliance, governance, risk management, or workflow management systems is preferred.
