As a 2027 Risk Management & Controls Intern – Americas, you will join the Risk Management & Controls team to support the identification and analysis of financial, operational, and compliance risks across the Americas region. You will perform research, data analysis, and process reviews to identify trends and opportunities for improvement while conducting root cause and gap analyses. Your daily responsibilities include tracking action plans, preparing monthly and quarterly controls metrics, and reporting on Partner Ecosystem integrity. To succeed, you must possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. You will also explore using AI tools to automate business workflows. This role addresses the critical challenge of mitigating enterprise risk and ensuring internal control compliance within a complex corporate environment through cross-functional collaboration with finance, legal, and audit teams.
Identify and analyze financial, operational, and compliance risks across the Americas region.
Conduct research and data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
Perform root cause and gap analysis to uncover improvements in existing processes and controls.
Track action plans, control activities, audit observations, and remediation efforts.
Prepare monthly and quarterly controls metrics, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
Explore the use of AI tools to automate and simplify business workflows.
Support Partner Ecosystem integrity through data gathering, tracking, and reporting.
Complete a summer project and present findings and recommendations to team leadership.
What we're looking for
High School Diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Risk Management, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and identify patterns.
Effective written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities.
Experience with AI tools, data visualization, or analytics tools (preferred).
