What you'll do

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software and firmware for PageWide Web Press platforms.
  • Build distributed, multi-threaded, and event-driven systems that interact with real-time hardware and industrial controls.
  • Translate product and system requirements into robust, maintainable code implementations.
  • Execute automated and manual test strategies including lab and on-press validation.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues identified in both development and customer environments.
  • Participate in architecture design and peer code reviews to ensure software quality.
  • Apply AI-assisted techniques to improve engineering productivity and system diagnostics.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Typically 4-6 years of experience in software design, development, architecture, or programming languages.
  • Proficiency in software and/or firmware development using C/C++, Java, Groovy, Scala, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with distributed, multi-threaded, or event-driven systems interacting with real-time hardware.
  • Experience with industrial automation, embedded systems, robotics, manufacturing, or high-reliability systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile development, CI/CD practices, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Exposure to commercial or industrial printing, automation, or press systems (preferred).
  • Familiarity with agent-based or tool-orchestrated AI systems (preferred).
