TL;DR · Value Chain Process Engineer

Hire to Retire (H2R) - Value Chain Process Engineer serves as a strategic architect for the employee lifecycle, transforming human capital management into a process-led and AI-enabled experience. Working with HR, Digital, and Business leaders, this role focuses on redesigning workflows by eliminating non-value-added work, such as redundant data entry and excessive approvals, before implementing automation. The position involves defining human-AI interaction models, determining where automated systems should handle administrative tasks versus where human judgment is essential, and standardizing global HR processes including talent acquisition, payroll operations, and employee relations. Key competencies include enterprise workflow architecture, a lean mindset for waste elimination, AI literacy, and experience with AI/ML and analytics in enterprise environments. The role solves the challenge of simplifying complex cross-functional workflows to create an efficient, high-performing, and digitally enabled HR value chain.

What you'll do

  • Redesign Hire-to-Retire workflows to integrate AI for analytical, coordination, and administrative tasks.
  • Define clear human-AI interaction models including decision rights, escalation paths, and exception handling.
  • Eliminate non-value-added work such as redundant data entry, excessive approvals, and unnecessary policy complexity.
  • Standardize and harmonize global HR processes across the entire employee lifecycle before implementing technology.
  • Determine where to deploy AI for efficiency versus where human judgment must remain primary.
  • Influence digital HR investment priorities and contribute to HR technology roadmaps.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define best-in-class maturity for the Hire-to-Retire value chain.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in leading Human Resources organizations across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Deep hands-on experience in Hire to Retire transformation.
  • Proven experience redesigning workflows and simplifying complex cross-functional processes.
  • Experience implementing automation, AI/ML, analytics, or HR platforms in enterprise environments.
  • Proficiency in enterprise workflow architecture and a lean mindset for waste elimination.
  • Literacy in AI and responsible AI deployment.
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder leadership skills.
