Head of Operations, Space Orbital Systems

What you'll do

• Manage day-to-day business operations including organization design, talent planning, real estate, and infrastructure compliance.
• Develop and synthesize the growth strategy for the Space Orbital Systems business line.
• Oversee the profit and loss (P&L) and burn rate in coordination with the finance team.
• Lead high-impact strategic initiatives aligned with the business line's priorities.
• Build and execute strategic partnerships across the industry.
• Manage senior leader engagement and external interface strategies including press releases and conferences.
• Support merger and acquisition activities by identifying targets and conducting due diligence.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of professional experience in operations.
• Ability to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
• Strong emotional intelligence and ability to solve problems using both data-driven and people-centric approaches.
• High ownership to manage at least six large projects simultaneously at a rapid pace.
• Solid technical aptitude to understand designs and work effectively with engineering teams.
• Ability to work onsite five days a week in Costa Mesa, CA.
• Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time.
• MBA or similar degree (preferred); Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field (preferred).
