  • Own the architecture, release quality, and production performance for proprietary and third-party portfolio management platforms.
  • Design and implement modular services for portfolio construction, rebalancing optimization, and order generation across multiple asset classes.
  • Manage the order-management (OMS) capability from order creation and enrichment through execution handoff and status tracking.
  • Embed agentic toolsets into portfolio-construction applications to automate setup, maintenance, monitoring, and rebalancing.
  • Lead the simplification of legacy technology and the migration of fragmented data into a scalable, unified application footprint.
  • Oversee strategic vendor relationships, including service expectations, integration quality, and commercial performance.
  • Lead a global organization of engineers and architects to build a culture of technical excellence and accountability.

What we're looking for

  • 15 or more years of experience in asset management technology, front-office engineering, portfolio management, trading platforms, investment data, AI-enabled engineering, or large-scale technology transformation.
  • Deep knowledge of institutional portfolio-management workflows across asset allocation, portfolio construction, and implementation for multi-asset investment teams and fiduciary clients.
  • Proven record of leading complex global engineering organizations and delivering multi-year platform modernization with measurable business outcomes and operational resilience.
  • Strong solution architecture capability including design thinking, design-for-failure, API-first design, event-driven platforms, shared services, cloud-native engineering, and resilient data platforms.
  • Experience rebuilding or consolidating a portfolio-construction or rebalancing platform in production and successfully retiring the legacy system.
  • Hands-on experience with specification-first delivery, translating requirements into specifications and tests with AI-assisted engineering.
  • Practical experience using artificial intelligence to improve investment workflows, engineering productivity, software quality, testing, documentation, and delivery effectiveness.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field required.
  • Advanced degree or relevant professional qualification (preferred).
  • Experience across public and private markets, multi-asset solutions, and global regulated environments (preferred).
