Head of Immunodiagnostics and Next Generation Technology

What you'll do

• Implement high-throughput ligand binding assay strategies focused on automation and speed over traditional plate-based methods.
• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for immunology and assay development across vaccine program teams.
• Manage multiple assay development projects including serological, immunodiagnostic, and toxicological studies.
• Author technical documents, validation reports, regulatory responses, and scientific publications.
• Lead technology transfers and integrate cutting-edge testing technologies into clinical strategies.
• Direct and mentor a diverse team of scientists and subordinate managers.
• Ensure all laboratory operations and clinical testing comply with GCLP and cGMP standards.

What we're looking for

• PhD in Immunology or a closely related biological field.
• 5+ years of industry experience leading the development of advanced tools and assays and implementing cutting-edge technologies.
• Experience managing other managers and mentoring junior scientists.
• Expert knowledge of analytical/clinical validations under GCLP and/or cGMP guidelines.
• Deep expertise in assay lifecycle management, robotic sample handling systems, clinical batching, and Design of Experiments (DoE).
• Proficiency with LIMS, DoE software, and standard enterprise suites.
• Strong publication record as a primary author and experience presenting data to senior leadership.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States.
