What you'll do

  • Lead a team to develop technical requirements for Immunology-facing data products that enable AI applications.
  • Manage, upskill, and retain a technical team while collaborating with internal R&D and technology partners.
  • Define and maintain a roadmap for Immunology data products across discovery, translational research, clinical development, and real-world evidence.
  • Ensure Immunology data assets are standardized, productized, and integrated into the enterprise R&D data ecosystem.
  • Develop and deploy scalable AI solutions to accelerate the Immunology Research and Development pipeline.
  • Contribute to the development and governance of an Immunology Ontology to ensure semantic consistency across data types.
  • Establish agile delivery processes and value-tracking metrics for Immunology data products and AI tools.
  • Champion data literacy and adoption within the Immunology therapeutic area.

What we're looking for

  • Must possess an advanced degree (PhD) in Computer Science, AI/ML, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of post-academic, industry, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience with diverse, high-dimensional data sets including multi-modal Immunology data, omics, imaging, and real-world evidence is required.
  • Must have extensive experience creating and managing the full lifecycle of scalable, impactful data-driven solutions.
  • Strong experience in people leadership and the ability to work within a matrixed organization is required.
  • Deep knowledge of data products, database design, and data transformation/mapping is required.
  • Excellent communication skills and strategic thinking capabilities are required.
  • Preferred experience includes the Life Sciences sector and familiarity with Immunology Ontology enterprise metadata standards like CDISC or FHIR.
