Head of Cloud Security Engineering

What you'll do

• Lead a team of cloud security engineers to deliver solutions for multi-cloud environments.
• Uplift security controls and manage policy-as-code pipelines across the multi-cloud ecosystem.
• Oversee cloud service hardening, posture monitoring, and cloud security incident response.
• Maintain operational governance hygiene including SOPs and reference cloud security architectures.
• Coordinate the day-to-day deployment and management of security tooling and controls.
• Manage audit requirements and perform security audits on existing infrastructure services.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate training to maintain high standards of operational excellence.

What we're looking for

• Deep knowledge of AWS or Azure, including best practices for security guardrail implementation and service hardening.
• At least 3+ years of experience leading SRE, DevSecOps, or cloud security engineering teams.
• At least 10+ years of experience in SRE or cloud security engineering in public cloud environments.
• Working experience with Containers and Kubernetes within AWS, Azure, or OCI cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-53 and CMM.
• Experience aligning cloud security controls to the MITRE framework.
• Demonstrated experience aligning technical architecture and standards/processes to deliver the best user experience (preferred).
• Experience with cloud posture management tooling such as Wiz or Prisma (preferred).
