Staff Cloud Security Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, deploy, and maintain security measures for cloud infrastructures across AWS, GCP, and Azure platforms.
• Secure containerized applications by implementing Kubernetes and microservices security best practices.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures for cloud environments and workloads.
• Integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate security operations and monitoring workflows using Python scripting.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and threat modeling for cloud infrastructure.
• Investigate and remediate cloud security incidents in collaboration with the incident response team.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation on cloud security processes, architecture diagrams, and risk assessments.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Cloud Security Engineer or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Proficiency in writing scripts and automation using Python.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Demonstrated experience with CSPM platforms like Wiz, Divvy Cloud, Prisma Cloud, or Orca.
• Relevant security certifications such as AWS, GCP, or Azure Security Engineer are preferred.
