What you'll do

  • Design, implement, and support security measures for Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
  • Develop Policy as Code (PaC) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform aligned with CIS and NIST standards.
  • Implement and manage CSPM tools like Wiz and Microsoft Defender for Cloud to monitor and enforce controls.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and reviews of cloud configurations.
  • Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to security champions across various business units.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the long-term cloud security roadmap.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a public cloud engineer or developer role.
  • Minimum of 5 years as an Engineer, Developer, or Architect in IT, with at least 8-12 years of total IT experience.
  • Strong Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) expertise using Terraform.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Python-based DevOps tooling and automation frameworks.
  • Expertise in Git-based version control and CI/CD processes such as GitHub Actions.
  • Deep understanding of cloud security principles, cloud-native architectures, and integration into development workflows.
  • Desired certifications include Azure Security Engineer Associate, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, CISSP, or CCSP.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field is preferred.
