What you'll do

Develop, test, and provide customer support for hardware, firmware, and semiconductors.
Perform logic (RTL) design and verification for microprocessors and infrastructure components.
Execute physical design and analog/IO design for high-performance systems.
Conduct signal integrity and power integrity analysis for circuit designs.
Utilize electronic design automation tools to develop IBM products like zSystems and Power Systems.
Design and manufacture hardware products using VHDL, Verilog, or other hardware description languages.
Perform circuit simulation and electrical design using industry-standard tools like SPICE.
Develop software scripts in Python, C/C++, or Java to support engineering workflows.

What we're looking for

High School Diploma or GED is required.
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is preferred.
Candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
Preferred candidates have at least three months of experience designing or manufacturing hardware products.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, Java, or other object-oriented languages is preferred.
Knowledge of hardware description languages like VHDL or Verilog and circuit simulation tools like SPICE is preferred.
Experience with microprocessor/ASIC design, computer architecture, and various hardware architectures (FPGA, RISC-V, ARM) is preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
