What you'll do

Design, test, and provide customer support for hardware, firmware, and semiconductors.
Perform logic (RTL) design, verification, and physical design for microprocessors and systems.
Conduct signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal analysis for high-performance components.
Execute processor, component, and system characterization and validation testing.
Develop and test firmware architectures while performing failure analysis.
Perform material analysis, characterization, and mechanical modeling for hardware integration.
Provide technical support to customers and field engineers regarding IBM infrastructure products.

What we're looking for

High School Diploma or GED is required.
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering, science, or physics field is preferred.
Candidates should be pursuing or hold a degree in fields such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics.
At least three months of experience designing or manufacturing hardware products is preferred.
Prior project or internship experience in computer hardware or testing is preferred.
Proficiency in programming languages like C/C++, Python, or Java and hardware description languages like VHDL or Verilog is preferred.
Experience with circuit simulation tools (SPICE), CAD tools, and 3D modeling is preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
