What you'll do

  • Design, test, and provide customer support for hardware, firmware, and semiconductors.
  • Perform logic (RTL) design, verification, and physical design for microprocessors and systems.
  • Conduct signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal analysis for high-performance components.
  • Execute processor, component, and system characterization and validation testing.
  • Develop and test firmware architectures while performing failure analysis.
  • Perform material analysis, characterization, and mechanical modeling for hardware integration.
  • Provide technical support to customers and field engineers regarding IBM infrastructure products.

What we're looking for

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering, science, or physics field is preferred.
  • Candidates should be pursuing or hold a degree in fields such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics.
  • At least three months of experience designing or manufacturing hardware products is preferred.
  • Prior project or internship experience in computer hardware or testing is preferred.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like C/C++, Python, or Java and hardware description languages like VHDL or Verilog is preferred.
  • Experience with circuit simulation tools (SPICE), CAD tools, and 3D modeling is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
