What you'll do

  • Develop, test, and provide customer support for hardware, firmware, and semiconductors.
  • Perform logic (RTL) design, verification, and physical design for microprocessors.
  • Conduct signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal analysis for IBM infrastructure.
  • Execute circuit design, electrical design, and printed circuit board layout.
  • Perform processor and system characterization and validation testing.
  • Analyze firmware architecture failures and conduct product quality assurance.
  • Model performance and characterize components for quantum and AI systems.

What we're looking for

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related fields is required.
  • Preferred candidates should have at least three months of experience designing or manufacturing hardware products.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware and architecture (FPGAs, RISC-V, ARM, MIPS) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, Java, or other object-oriented languages is preferred.
  • Knowledge of hardware description languages like VHDL or Verilog and circuit simulation tools like SPICE is preferred.
  • Experience with microprocessor/ASIC design, CAD tools, 3D modeling, and various hardware architectures is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
