As a Full Stack Java Python React Software Engineer III within the Global Technology Vendor Management Engineering Team, you will serve as a seasoned member of an agile team. You are responsible for designing and delivering trusted, scalable technology products by executing software solutions, creating high-quality production code, and maintaining complex algorithms. Your daily work involves producing architecture artifacts, troubleshooting technical problems, and developing visualizations from large datasets to drive system improvements. You will utilize Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML5, CSS, Sass, and LESS. Additionally, you must leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools for code generation and testing while ensuring security and performance. You will apply knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, CI/CD, and modern design patterns to build reliable solutions that avoid single points of failure.
Design and develop secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms for synchronous system operation.
Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring all software code meets design constraints.
Build scalable solutions using modern architectural patterns to ensure zero-downtime releases and optimized data performance.
Leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to generate code, refactor systems, and create unit tests.
Gather and analyze large data sets to develop visualizations and reporting for continuous system improvement.
Identify hidden patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and overall system architecture.
Investigate and resolve technical issues promptly to prevent recurring problems in production environments.
Update technologies and patterns continuously to keep systems current and maintain operational stability.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using Java or Python.
Proficiency with modern front-end stacks including JavaScript or TypeScript using React frameworks.
Knowledge and experience working with HTML5, CSS, and pre-compilers like Sass and LESS.
Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools to create, validate, and refine outputs.
Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
Experience in the banking domain (preferred); AWS certification (preferred); strong soft skills, problem-solving, and communication skills (preferred).
