As a Full-stack Java & React Software Engineer III, you will join the Software Engineering team within the Commercial & Investment Bank. You will work in an agile environment to design and deliver secure, scalable, and stable technology products. Your daily responsibilities include developing resilient systems, creating high-quality production code, and maintaining algorithms. You will produce architecture artifacts, analyze large datasets for system improvements, and troubleshoot production issues. The role requires proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, React, and REST Services, alongside experience with Jenkins, Git, and Jira. You will utilize enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to improve delivery speed and code quality. The work involves solving complex problems in mobile banking features, big data trading systems, merchant payments, and private and public cloud platform integrations.
Design and develop scalable, resilient systems using Java for iterative product improvements.
Execute software solutions, technical troubleshooting, and high-quality production code development.
Produce architecture and design artifacts while ensuring software code meets specific design constraints.
Analyze large data sets to develop visualizations and reporting for continuous system improvement.
Identify patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
Leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity.
Apply SDLC toolchain knowledge to improve automation value and production stability.
Support production issues and maintain code within a large corporate environment.
What we're looking for
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Proficient in coding in Java, Spring Boot, React, and REST Services.
Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
Experience with modern Agile delivery practices (Scrum/Kanban), CI/CD, and DevOps-aligned development.
Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools to create, validate, and refine outputs.
Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and security expectations.
Familiarity with messaging tools such as Kafka (preferred); exposure to cloud technologies preferably AWS (preferred).
