Full-stack Python and React Software Engineer III

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot a Python-based control plane to automate platform provisioning and configuration.
• Create secure production code and maintain services for data platform provisioning and pipeline enablement on AWS.
• Build reliable backend services and APIs to enable self-service workflows for onboarding and environment provisioning.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code and automation for AWS components including identity controls, encryption, and networking.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts while ensuring code meets security, resiliency, scalability, and cost constraints.
• Drive reliability and observability practices through logs, metrics, tracing, and the creation of operational runbooks.
• Use enterprise-authorized AI tools to generate, refactor, and test code while validating outputs against secure coding standards.
• Identify patterns in operational data to improve coding hygiene and overall system architecture.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Strong experience developing, debugging, and maintaining production code in a large corporate environment using Python or another modern language.
• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies such as React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong experience with AWS and infrastructure fundamentals, including IAM, KMS, S3, CloudWatch, EKS, ECS, and Lambda.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation-first engineering.
• Solid understanding of the SDLC, including CI/CD, automated testing, and safe deployment practices.
• Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools to evaluate and refine outputs for correctness and security.
