Field Services Engineer

What you'll do

• Provide on-site technical support for manufacturing and office IT systems including desktops, laptops, printers, and RF guns.
• Execute incident and request fulfillment by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues within defined SLAs.
• Perform preventative maintenance, equipment replacements, and lifecycle refresh tasks for site technology.
• Integrate IT equipment with Active Directory, networks, and NAS systems.
• Conduct first-level troubleshooting and data collection for root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Perform field services including IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change), hardware break/fix, and spares handling.
• Provide first-level network support for connectivity issues, including switch port activations and cable tracing.
• Maintain accurate ticket updates, asset records, and knowledge documentation in approved systems.

What we're looking for

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in onsite or field technical support.
• Hands-on experience with Windows-based systems.
• Experience in a GxP environment.
• Knowledge of NetBackup and Rubrik.
• Working knowledge of ITSM tools and endpoint management.
• Experience supporting RF devices, scanners, printers, and shop floor PCs.
• Network+ certification or equivalent hands-on networking experience (preferred); ITIL Foundation certification (preferred).
