As a Field Engineer within the Upgrade Operations department, you will manage the optimization, testing, and documentation of sophisticated communication systems while performing critical software and hardware upgrades on live customer systems. What you'll do

Manage the optimization, testing, and documentation of sophisticated communication systems.
Perform software and hardware upgrades on live customer systems to minimize downtime.
Provision system infrastructure and troubleshoot software-driven electronics including RF and Broadband architectures.
Execute upgrades for server hardware, operating systems, and specialized product applications.
Resolve complex application issues through expert troubleshooting in high-pressure environments.
Maintain and configure computer network systems including routers, switches, firewalls, and cabling.
Manage R.F. systems, antenna networks, transmitters, receivers, and packet switching techniques.
Prepare comprehensive weekly progress reports detailing accomplishments and key activities.

What we're looking for

Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customers.
Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
Associate degree in engineering technology or related field, or relevant certifications.
Proficiency in computer network systems including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and cabling.
Working knowledge of R.F. systems, antenna networks, transmitters, receivers, and packet switching techniques.
Ability to troubleshoot software-driven electronics, RF, and Broadband architectures.
Must have a current, valid driver’s license with no traffic violations.
Willingness to travel more than 50% of the time as needed.
